Hello Folks, I like the fix for the sgpro flip very very much - the EtoE sharpness is much better than before. The clip was cut just for fun - not so good to tell the real EtoE sharpness , so don`t be disappointed. Added some grain + color.

I like the Idea, that the SGblade comes as an nonflipped-version - so I can use my old sgpro flip. Am I right on this?

Couldn't really tell from the footage how much the achromat improved due to no baseline but you mentioned that anyway. What kind of post work did you do? That grain and color addition would cut very nicely with some super 16.
 
Did a white balance correction with Edius to crush blacks - also added some grain in Edius. Then used a MB preset for further grading + grain.

I will post some footage shot with the new achromat on weekend.
I think S16 footage would be much sharper, than HVX footage, but don`t know from my own experience.

Is the XY alignement build in the SGBlade? So I don`t need the upgrade for the flip? Or will it be build in the flip?
