I'm trying to figure out the best way to work with these three things: my HVX200 with the Redrock mattebox and RRM2. I'd like to be able to switch back and forth with as much ease as possible.
I have 18" rods that I am considering cutting down but I want to be sure it's the right thing to do before I go and cut them.
I currently shim the camera, but not the M2 so the rods don't go under the camera and stick way out. I heard it is best not to shim the M2. I was thinking of cutting my 18" rods to 10" and 4" so I can use the mattebox with the stock lens using the 4" rods and the M2 with the 10" rods.
Has anyone else been successful at figuring out how to work with all these?
