HVX rentals in LA??

Hey family,

long time no post!

I've been in LA for 3 years now...moved here to write, but have been directing quite a few music vids recently.

I'm gearing up for another (literally) and I've been seeing this place on Craigslist called Best Camera...

They have INSANE rental prices, almost too good to be true. Full pacakges too.

I need a go-to place to rent an HVX, but since I'm not a production entity, and gigs just seem to FIND me, I can't justify my own production insurance cost. So I'm always looking for reasonable rental houses or people to build relationships with so they just trust me. (fat chance, right?!)

But not so fat...I've developed a pretty decent rapport with some still camera rental places, and now I can just go in and rent whatever without them constantly accessing my credit card. Never had a problem yet.

So... (you'll soon remember how long winded I am!)

Basically:

1) Anyone ever dealt with these guys? (bestcamera.com)
2) Anyone in LA looking to make some sporadic extra $$$, but not too (justifiably) paranoid to let some capable hands rent their HVX package?

How many times do you rent? my package hpx170 / redrock m2/ nikon lens set/ redrock matte box kit/4x4 ff/glidecam v8 / Manhattan 720p monitor/ tripod 503/ 11ft camera crane/ omni tracker/ dolly +20ft track. What would you pay for this or with a optional 5d m2 camera rental . 3 to 4 day rental?
