I am making a post here because I am desperate in my efforts to find an individual willing to rent out their HVX.
I have been searching relentlessly for companies renting out the hvx at a reasonable price. I am nearly ready to film a short that I have developed with some fellow schoolastic colleagues but we lack the funds to buy all the necessary equipment.
At this point in time, I am planning to do my filming in Susanville, CA (near Reno) and it should be a one day shoot, two max. I live in Santa Rosa (north of San Francisco) and would be willing to drive to anyone nearby and willing to rent the equipment.
As expensive as the HVX is, i understand anyones hesitation to rent it out so easily, so I am willing to provide any necessary information and any reasonable insurance/deposit for safety of the owner of the equipment.
I am a responsible trust worthy individual, and I would ask any owner of an HVX that has perhaps financed it to consider this may be an opportunity for you to help take off some of the burden of the expense.
Anyone interested in renting the equipment to me can contact me at either of my two email addresses:
goreela@hotmail.com or pimp_will2000@hotmail.com <-(dont laugh I made it in highschool
).
you are also free to call home phone at 707-538-2109.
Thanks!
