HVX P2 import via Firewire from camera.

I am running an iMac with the latest OS and FCP 5.1.2.

On my computer, I don't have any slots for my P2 cards. How do I capture/import the HVX footage on my P2 cards onto my computer via firewire and camera. On MCR/VCR mode, LCD on camera shows the thumbnails, and the firewire is hooked up (port and cable is good as I just capture DV with it) but the computer isn't recognizing or mounting the camera or cards on my desktop?

What do I do?

The interface/P2 Import window are out dated in the paper, but the hook up methods and all the like are still applicable. Good luck.
