I apologize if this has been asked and answered. Tried to search for HVX firewire hub, but "hub" and "hvx" were omitted.
My question is, for offloading footage only, is it possible to connect a FireWire hub (Belkin) to a MacBook (non-pro), then connect the HVX and a FW HDD to the hub? Basically, I'm trying to conserve space and weight, and if I can use a MacBook, I'd love to do that.
