HVX Lens Converters on DVX Cameras

Has anyone tried a HVX wide-converter or tele-converter on a DVX camera? Do you think it would work well?

I mean, all you would need is an 82 mm to 72 mm step-down ring right? Or might you need some more hardware? Any recommendations?

I am trying to hit two birds with one stone by getting converters for the HVX that can be stepped-down with a screw in adapter to fit my DVX cameras...

What do you think?

16x9 Inc. and Schneider Optics have some great converters for the HVX and I thought that those same ones may also work great on the DVX.

Century/Schneider adapters won't work like that because they don't use lens threads. The 16x9 lens should work on both with a step-down ring. I've tested the 16x9 .75x lens, it's a good solid product and from all reports I've heard, it's better than the Century .75x. The Century teleconverters are great.
 
Alright, that makes sense. Sounds good on the 16x9 Inc. converter. Thanks for the info Barry. BTW I just got your DVX Book, it's priceless! Great Job! And keep up the great work.
 
Barry: I have a century .75x I have a uv haze filter screwed on the HVX200 82 mm and the ring will fit over the outside and you can screw it down tight. The century was one I had laying around from my old Mll days. I used this a lot back in my old days doing the Lowe's training videos.

I have the Century 1.6x tele converter on a D VX 200. Its awesome. Its a really useful lengeth. Easy to use, focus etc. Completely clean.
