HVX DV Anamorphic 480i /24P - FCP ?

Hey guys,

Sorry for the absolutely dumb question, but I'm finishing up a project I shot in 24P, miniDV on my HVX. Not 24PA but just straight 24P.

For capturing it, what's the best capture setting? I captured it originally with a custom setup of 24P but it's interlaced as hell, so before I do my final export I want to re-capture both tapes with the best setting to eliminate the interlace and then online it to match up with my timecode.

Is the "eliminate advanced pull down" with the anamorphic box checked the best bet?

i think you want to check both those checkboxes.

i shot 24p (normal cadence) on the hvx and only had anamorphic checked and i noticed my audio went out of sync after a while.

checking the other box "remove advanced pulldown/duplicate frames from firewire sources" should probably do the trick.
