HVX camera filters?

do you guys know what filters are good for making images softer and more film like? I wanted to save time in post so I want to do everything during production. Appreciate it!

If you want to diffuse the image and remove sharpness, you can try turning down the detail level on your HVX. If you want a more obvious effect, Tiffen makes some good diffusion filters that would fit into a mattebox or screw onto your lens barrel. Or, take a piece of clear glass, rub some vaseline on, and see if that gives you the diffusion you want

If you turn the detail setting to minimum (I think -7) then I wouldn't use any more filters on the HVX. It's pretty soft anyways. I never worked with less than -2
