I don't have a Brevis yet, but it may be a great tax write off for 2008... . I have owned the Cavision rod and handle kit for a while though. It's certainly not a Zacuto, but it's adjustable, light, cheap and works well.
As for the rod system, I have an older one than what they are currently offering. The new one looks much improved. I'm not sure exactly which of the new ones is similar to the one I have, but this one http://www.cavision.com/rods/minidv.htm is in the ball park.
Where can I find those little handles I keep seeing all over?
I am hoping to get the Brevis 60mm rails so all I need is a rail clamp and two handles... I've seen some simple looking solutions all over, just last night I saw some decent ones on the "customer's rigs" section in the RedRock website... I am having a hard time finding these so I would appreciate your help.
