HVX Aliasing After Render

I'm new to Vegas. Here's my problem. I've used Raylight so that I can place my HVX footage onto the editor's timeline. Then I go to render as a Quicktime with the following template attributes: Video Format - JPEG / Pixel Aspect Ratio - 1 / 24bpp color / 23.976 (IVTC Film) / HD (1280x720) / Quality - HIGH (100%)

The video looks pretty good; problem is that there is aliasing I'd like to get rid of.

I've edited and rendered the same footage using FCP without hardly any visible aliasing. Any ideas on what I could do better here?

Thanks!

Can you post a screen shot of the aliasing? Also, is it in the timeline, or just in the render?

Have you tried to render to other formats? Was the aliasing present there?

Thanks. Here is a screenshot for you. The "DV Film" watermarks are because I am still using the Raylight trial.

Yeah, no shot. But just stabbing in the dark -- what's your Raylight quality setting? Red? Yellow? Blue? If it's yellow or red, the rendered video will be lower-quality.

David,

Yeah, I have it set to Yellow. I thought that only affected the real-time playback. I didn't realize that it also affects the render quality. So, before I go to render, I need to click on Raylight's BLUE button?

Also, I think you are not seeing the pic because it is being linked to from an https address.
