HVX 480i/24p footage Q

I've shot a lot of 480i/24p footage with my HVX to tape, and when I go to FCP 5 to capture, the footage is fuzzy and interlaced. I've played around with the capture setting, but was wondering what settings you guys use to capture 24p footage to FCP.

24p footage should be captured the same way you'd capture something shot 29.97. Make sure you haven't selected '24p Advanced' or 'Advanced pulldown', anything like that in your FCP options when capturing.
