my HVX 200 camera appears to have suddenly broken. In P2 mode, none of my buttons work:
I cannot access menu, I get no display info. I cannot switch to MCR mode.
When I turn power switch to OFF, the camera remains on and i can only turn it off by detaching the battery. Camera also made loud groan sound.
Weirdly, in tape mode, everything seems to function more or less normally.
Is this a typical break-down? My repair warranty just ended, any suggestions about reputable places to get it fixed or ways I could trouble shoot the problem myself?
