HV20 with Vegas won't capture

I filmed a wedding a little while ago and I'm trying to capture the footage. It was recorded with my hv20 and a gl2. The tapes from my hv20 captured fine, but the gl2 tapes won't even show up on the capture screen. They play fine in my hv20, but when I try to capture in vegas, it gives a message saying "device not connected" or something like that. I changed the capture settings to ntsc, but still can't get it to work. Any suggestions?

Hv20

The HV20 firewire out may be set to HDV->DV convert. CHeck that out. Otherwise, the HV20 should capture any DV tape. I do that often.
