HV20 user looking for DOF adapters

Hi,

I've got my trusty old Canon HV20 and I'm thinking about adding a camera cage and a DOF adapter. Unfortunately, the threads and links here in the forum are usually outdated or dead. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

P.S. Did just wait three days for my account validation?
 
The reason the links and threads are all outdated is because the concept is pretty much outdated. It gets awkward, overly large, and takes a lot of work and attention to detail to make it work. Not to even mention the light loss you may have to deal with.

A much better solution is to look for a used Panasonic GH2, look for some "legacy" lenses (Canon FD, Nikkor, Minolta...) many of which are quite inexpensive. The adapters are often inexpensive and you don't have deal with bulk, alignment, excessive weight and you don't really need a "rig".

You get the benefit of DOF control in a more workable setup.
