hello. i just bought a sennheizer ew100 g2 wireless mic system. the problem is; i cant get the audio to not use the auto gain control.
i am using the manual audio option on the camera, but the sound still keeps pumping up and down on the background sound when i am talking...
what can i do to solve this problem. am i missing something? i have tried to search through all menus both in the camera and the sennheizer with no result. there have to be a way to control the sound manually, right?

thanks.

The Sennheiser levels are set manually - sensitivity for the transmitter and output level for the receiver.

Your problem lies in the camera.

pumping sound means AGC (automatic gain control) and/or limiters is on.

So try to find in the menu section audio something like AGC or Limiter

AGC and limiters are not the same, and may be separate options, so even if the AGC is disabled, the condition described could be limiter action, either at the G2 transmitter or the camera. If this is the case, the likely best fix is to either reduce the gain at the G2 transmitter to normal meter deflection, or, if the transmitter meter shows normal level, reduce the output level of the G2 receiver, and/or reduce the input gain of the camera.
