Hustle looks like it was shot on DV, maybe HD. Anybody know what camera they use?

8th and Ocean is the real kicker though. This show looks amaaaaazing. It seems to go against all the rules of what makes good cinematography (good locations, good lighting, locked down or professionally moving shots, lots of preparation, don't shoot in broad daylight, don't shoot against white walls). The list goes on. The only thing they seem to have control over is shot composition and yet every single shot looks good and it's a reality show. I am baffled as to how they do this. It has the same look as Laguna Beach (SDX900), but looks better than that show. I know a lot of LB is staged. This seems to be less so, making its quality even more impressive. Is this some super camera that sprays magic dust over every single shot? How can something so on the fly look this good?

I've only seen bits and pieces of this show, but it looks like SDX900 as well. Everything looks so well because the show is largely staged, much like Laguna Beach. I think they break many of the roles of cinematography on purpose to give the show a "reality" feel. However from what I've seen it all seems a little too intentional. (i.e. snap zooms, shaky hand-held camera, etc.) It's no wonder camera (although the SDX900 is great), it's just well-staged.

EDIT: BTW, I was referring to "8th and Ocean". Sadly between those two shows that is the only one I have seen so I can't comment on Hustle.
