Anyone see the game last night? I don't really like Edmonton, so I was rooting for Carolina by default.

If you missed the game you really MISSED the game. It was one of the best games I've seen in a long time.

Those guys are warriors.

I have to say that I was dissapointed with Edmonton. The last game they cleaned the ice with the other team. It's a shame..would have been a great come back story. It's all good though since all the players really are Canadian so it's not like we actually lost. Ha.

A fantastic way to end a fantastic series. Actually, most of the playoff games I saw were great.

True. Last night really topped it off. Who were you going for in the series Horse? Not just the finals, but from the beginning.

We were stunned, shocked, and sad :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:

I just wish the hockey season wasn't quite so long. I can't get that excited about hockey finals played in the middle of June.

I can't watch Hockey without hearing the music and sound effects from Nintendo's "Ice Hockey" 8-bit wonder.

Wait... my state has a hockey team?

You wouldn't know it because after winning the cup half the people in my office didn't have a clue about it. Last night was an awesome game and I wish it was a bigger deal to the people here in Carolina.

Yeah a lot of canadian hearts were broken at the bar I was at last night :crybaby:

yea, my picks were for New Jersey or Anaheim (believe it or not.) Edmonton seemed to be one of the slowest teams and I'm surprised they made it as far as they did. This year all the favs were bumped out pretty quickly. My favorite teams are actually San Jose, Detroit and New Jersey.

Believe it or not, I had two teams that I was pulling for... Buffalo and Edmonton. I've always been a huge Pronger fan, and once we traded Roloson to the Oilers, they turned into the team for me.

I hope that I'll be pulling for the Wild next year, but we'll see what happens. They need to spend a little bit of money first.

CORRECTION

As someone who lives in Cary (Snug beside of Raleigh) I can tell you the Canes throughout the playoffs have been huge here in the RTP area. Charlotte...I've heard mixed things, good & bad (Charlotte's press is constantly waging war with Raleigh's lol).

But anyway great series, I really enjoyed whooping the Devils as well, and the Sabers played great so that was a very enjoyable series as well. Some good hockey all around :)
