I just wanted to say that I have come into this forum and others just looking for quick advice, usually on what equipment to put on a shopping list or something of that nature, but have found that listening and reading through the archives has taught me much and opened my eyes to the fact that there is a world of skill behind the equipment that has more to do with the success factor than the brand names at the top of the must have lists. Not that good quality mics and gear don't matter, but more that there is so much else that matters as well. I think I owe more to this forum in helping me get educated than any other single source out there.
