After reading so many positive comments about Norm's (Envision) duplication service he was my first choice when my need for disc duplication came around. His website promised a quick turnaround as well as a nice DVX member discount.
Well, I was running way behind getting ready for a big screening party. I initially contacted Norm on May 28th asking if it would be possible to get 100 retail ready discs back to me by June 9th. No problem.
Well, Norm had no idea who he was dealing with because during the course of the next several days I changed the artwork on him as well as the master disc. After finding a major flaw in my original master DVD I called Norm on Saturday and asked him to stop production and could I send him a new master to use instead. I overnighted a new master which he received on Tuesday. Two days later they were in my hands. Quite amazing.
The copies are beautiful. The jacket and disc label are perfect. (If only the content were worthy of such quality!)
Norm tried very hard to save me money and give me the best deal possible. It's nice to deal with people who care about their reputation and the quality of their work. I have found my source for disc duplication - I have no interest in looking elsewhere.
Oh, did I mention that Norm was also trying to finish up his HeroFest film AND take care of his sick wife at the same time he was taking care of this customer.
