Bought it and it's got some great stuff in there. It is time consuming and a pain in the @ss if you dont have a machine shop (really just need a precision drill press), and finding all the parts took me all over L.A. to almost every Home Depot, Lowes, and OSH.

I have a 16' crane/jib, a full platform dolly, a mini dolly, a steadi-sled, and a car mount (and I think maybe some other things I cant remember right now) and they all work very well.

If I had it to do again, I would either just spend a fortune on commercial products or shoot myself. (I dont have the patience for extended DIY work. My ADHD overwhelms me.

Loved the book.. can't say enough about the author, Dan..

I wrote him, from the email listed in his book.. asking some techical questions... and he wrote back within a couple of days. We corresponded several times since, he even offered alternative ways to get things done in the book, if I couldn't find the parts as they were listed.

Incredibly helpful guy, I would buy 10 books if he wrote them, just to support someone like him who truly wants to see people succeed.

Got it. Dig it. Still need to build more stuff from it. I've done the dolly and plumbing-pipe jib (which works surprisingly well).
 
I haven't built anything from it yet, but that book has already paid for itself just by explaining and showing how these devices work. Definitely worth the price.
