HTML question (flash play delay)

I've never tried it, but...and I assume it's not just a Squeeze thing...

In the SWF output options there are three movie start actions: Play Automatically, Play After Pause, and Stop On First Frame.

The second lets you put in a delay of your choosing. But you'd have to guesstimate how long that delay should be for the page load time.

I am rendering out of AE and all I have is to loop continuously, the JPG compression setting, some other options but nothing like that...

I don't know if it's possible to manually configure the SWF. Maybe there's a utility "out there" somewhere to edit those already made by other programs.

Hmm. Googling "SWF editor" brings up a few. Free and otherwise. Whether they can edit that particular attribute or not...don't know.

Sorry I can't help more. I've never done any SWF files, just the FLV type of Flash with an external player.
