Totally, totally agree..

This is one of my pet peeves, I personally have made a decision not to watch these types of movies (of course I can't stop others, thats their choice and I respect that)

But one thing you should bear in mind, in real life a female egyptian security agent that use to torture/ watch people being tortured on a daily basis once commented :

"I really enjoy those types of movies, because I get the same thrills as when I use to get when doing my old job"
