Hey sorry for being lame but i could use some help. I just got the HPX170p and a FS-100 portable DTE recorder. I was sent the wrong p2 card in the mail therefore i have no p2 card yet. DO i need a p2 card to record to the FS-100 or can i record straight to it anyway.
If yes how do i record to the hardrive then view my footage i have been going through the manual and it keeps telling me about hvx200 connection but no such luck on hpx170. So far i have gotten the camera to the the drive to record but nothing else. i certainly can't find the footage anywhere but i'll cross that bridge when i get there. If someone could help me out here i would be very appreciative. just a little rundown on getting myself started filming with my hpx170 and fs-100.
I could also do without some pretentious bastard calling me an idiot for asking my question.
