hpx170 on sdhc cards

i apologize if this topic has been posted somewhere else but i did a couple searches and found nothing. im a complete hpx newbie and i see that there is a slot in the cam for sdhc cards. though ive gone through the manual i've been unsuccessful in getting them to work and i'm wondering if anybody else has had any luck. and more importantly are there any drawbacks compared to recording on p2.

SD cards on the HPX are not used for recording video. SD cards are used for loading scene files to the camera. The HPX and HVX only shoot HD to P2.
