HPX250: hpx-250 vs Canoon 5D

I use both, tell me what type of work are you doing and I can tell you what I have found.

Well if you have the time to do all the set up work a 5D in my option suite you better. The reason being is the 5D is less expensive and has better DOP and can shoot in almost any ultra low light so if budget is tight that is the best move. On the flip side the 250 is super sharp and 4:2:2 at Intra-100, you can paint in the camera and set up is very quick, however it will cost you more. I use my 250 85% of the time for my main shots and the 5D for my wide angel shots for B roll. I like being able to have a video camera for video and a DSLR that will do video and stills (just takes more time, the 250 can be a run and gun set up). Here is some footage I did using the 250 (password: promo :). Sorry dont have any from the 5D for viewing yet.
