HPX 170 Slo motion

whats the best way to use the slo motion for the HPX 170 while shooting action. Syncro Scan/shutter angle Or using the actual Shutter? i have not had that much luck with the syncro scan, because it looks real edgy and stroby. The frame rates would be 48 and 60. thanks.
 
your best bet is shooting in 60p with a shutter at at least 120, that should provide a smooth slow motion at 50%, if you want to go even lower then 1/2 speed, raise the shutter as much as your lighting allows.
