Hi,
I'm planning to purchase AT875r as an on and possibly off camera mic for my HPX-170. I'll be traveling to China alone for a documentary - it's basically an one man show. This project is for a non profit organisation so I only have a very limited budget for it.
I would like to know
1) whether the HPX-170 mic holder holds the AT875r firmly? Do I need any padding or something?
2) As I will be doing street interviews, do you think it's a good idea to get a pistol grip or sort for the AT875r? I will try to get some kind soul to help me hold the mic. I don't think I can bring any boom as I prefer not to be too visible on the street due to the sensitivity of the film
3) Should I also have a wind shield for the AT875r? Any recommendation?
As for sit down interview, I'm thinking of a wired lavalier, the Audio-Techinca AT899 or a Countryman b6. Good choice?
Sorry guys, I hope I have make myself clear enough. My english sucks!
regards
