HPG20 P2 recorder

Got a few questions on the HPG20. Thinking of attaching it to my PDW700. Firstly, will the P2 mount bracket attach to my camera, how does this attach exactly?
Will the cache/loop record and timelapse modes work?
The HPG20 will only record 1080/50i or 60i not 25P, but does that mean you can still shoot 25P and it'll just lay it down as interlaced (like PsF)?
Does it start up pretty much instantly like a camera or is there a time delay while it boots up?
Any other potential problems?
Many thanks,
Steve

It won't "mount" onto your camera as it is a desktop recorder.

I have the HPG10 which is similar.

Haven't used the timelapse or cache modes.

It takes about 5-6 seconds to boot up.

I use mine primarily for P2 offloading.

Andy at Abelcine has one mounted on a Varicam, Panny makes a cradle for it. But Andy's told me that it interfaces with the Anton Bauer battery mount and won't go on the PDW700. Will be easy enough to get something machined though.
In case anyone is interested, check out Abel's blog at www.abelcine.com There are all sorts of interesting snippets on it.
