i'm going to use a wireless since I have no boom operator this weekend. Anyone know how well this wireless works? Any suggestions on wireless use? This will be my first time using a non-wired microphone.

Bests

ok...i have no idea how to use a wireless mic. I shot an interview a week ago and finally captured it. HOLY COW! It spiked like every 10 seconds, i could hear everything and it sounded horrible. Am i missing something? Is there a certain setting wireless should be on? It didnt have a windscreen...could that be part of the cause? Does the wireless need to match the DVX settings? Is there a certain audio setting that must be changed when using wireless? PLEASE HELP...I have another wireless interview and can't make this mistake again.

these are exacly like the ev-100 , the same range and quality , just more fq setups and aditional headphoe amp on the reciever whicj can work as line level out , dont like them , that not mean it doesnt good for you :-)

One thing I've found with most wireless kits is that you have to watch the gain on the receiver. Most run very hot, and will distort easily. BTW, see my other posts...I'm pretty down on the Senn wireless kits right now (the G2 version anyway.)

wrong - you better whatch your transmitter level since if you doing the level adjustment in the first place your reciever level would be fine any time , if it start to distort is only if the tx clip on the hi level sound , so make new adjustment on tx and bring it down to the level that only very high picks would be compressed by the tx limitter
