how's this for bizare! camera switched from PAL to NTSC!

We have a JVC Streamcorder GY-DV300U here in Australia, and what has happend is it has switched from PAL to NTSC! ???

and we don't what on earth is going on...

any ideas?

Seriously, I've never heard of such a thing. Maybe it will change back to PAL when its ready. But, for now, just accept this lifestyle change it has made. :)

yeah i have called it names, many times, its a piece of #(&# in every aspect in comparison to the DVX,

it is believed that the chips are NTSC/PAL switchable?, but not even the JVC technicians in Australia know how to change it, so I was hoping a representative from another country might have some insight.
 
a tourist broke into your studio, took your PAl camera, put their NTSC one in its place, then ran away!!!!!!
