How's this for an internal hard drive for my new system?

750GB seem to be more readily available but my last DVX project required a 500GB external drive so I think more is more in this case.

This baby would be compatible with a two 2.66ghz dual core, correct? Is there any performance difference between a 16mb and 32mb cache size?

Yes, it will work fine in a Mac Pro. Just remember to remove the jumper before installing or you won't get your 3GB speed. I personally prefer Seagate over WD. I have had bad experience with WD and have heard other similar reports on shorter life spans, but that's just my experience. As far as 16 or 32MB cache, it won't make a noticeable difference.
