That's the closest thing we get to snow here :(
 
Nah, I've always been inside the 2 or possibly 3 times I remember seeing hail in my 18 years on this planet. Christ, it would hurt though. Has anyone here been hit by one (or ten)?
 
Oh, yes! I live in Oklahoma where the wind (and other elements) come sweepin' down the plain. We eat hail like that for breakfast. :) It'll definitely beat up your vehicle.

Come hang out around here from April through June and you'll have a great chance to see multiple tornadoes.

Luckily it didn't damage our car (well, maybe it did because when we bought it, it already had some dents in the bonnet from hail, but I'm pretty sure we didn't get anymore).

Damn, multiple tornadoes. And speaking of eating hail for breakfast, my Dad put some of the hailstones in the icecube container on the door of our freezer and I keep almost putting them in my drinks.

He's not the only crazy one. My dad used to be in the insurance business and everytime we had a hail storm people would come to his office to make a claim and many of them would bring in an ice chest with the hail so they could "prove it"...:grin::grin::grin::grin:

I just noticed that there is an info page at that site. It says that there is an easter egg on the main page, though I can't find it. Can anyone else?
 
Holy Smoley! That's some big ass hail! The closet hail that size we have here is Cold Stone at our local mall. But we have to pay to get one of those and it comes with 20 different flavors.

Did any car windows get broken? I'm sure hail that size would damage the heck out of windows.
 
Yeah Blue, we were lucky but I saw on the news, some other places in Brisbane were absolutely slaughtered. There was some video footage and you couldn't see grass because there was so much hail. There has been alot of damage to houses and cars.

I'm trying to see if there are any news sites with pics, if so I'll post some links

EDIT: I've given up already, musn't have been newsworthy enough.
