How would you light this?

Hey,

I've dabbled in shooting video and taking pictures at the same time but rarely so that they're essentially identical. It's been some pictures of a musician here, then doing a separate video etc. I'm looking to do something soon where the final product needs to be the same, so continuous lighting first to take pics then to take the video.

I've seen an example of the lighting I'd like to do, the Louis Vuitton SS14 campaign:

Stills - A few examples here - http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/news/f...re-see-the-star-studded-pictures.html#index=6

Here's one specific one:

Can anyone recommend what continuous lighting I could use to get this sort of lighting?

If I were just taking pictures I'd probably use a 100cm (about 40 inches) Octa to get the smoothness/softness, but I'm not sure for continuous what to use.

I've pondered a Fresnel through a silk, some LED Panels with some diffusion/through a silk or bounced off an umbrella or something (also looking at these new Remote Phosphur lights, might be interesting through a silk) and maybe two Kino Diva 400's but I don't really know what'd be best.

I'm happy to rent and try one of two out but I thought I'd see if anyone on here had any suggestions before I did.

I know there's a lot of colour correction gone into it to match the images but if I can get close there that'd be awesome.

Also - the above is actually very close, so kinda of like a magazine front cover which I def want, but I'd ideally like to be able to push enough light to light a mini scene, like an editorial style. E.G. something like the lighting in this recent Annie Lieb Vogue shoot: http://www.vogue.com/magazine/artic.../magazine-gallery/lena-dunham-february-2014/4

I post this one as there's a BTS - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0939ny6-MJU - that looks generally to be an Octa sometimes with a bounce.

Would a Kino or two give much the same effect or a LED panel or what would you use?

Thanks!
