How would you light this?

that reference does not look right, over sharpened, wide angle lens, separation from background does not look real (forced perspective), artificial hard light on what supposed to be a period peace, ...etc. are you sure that was a real set?

Looks like it's been heavily graded, and there's a lot of factors (as well as that wall having a fair range of brightness) so it's hard to tell but I'd say around a stop and a half or so, keeping in mind that that skin looks pretty pasty and all that background decor is very dark.

If you're trying to mimic the look, I'd say... shoot a test. Even if we can tell you exactly what to do, you'd learn far more from doing a test yourself.

This is a wide shot so, any CU's will have additions. For this wide I can see the following. Large soft source overhead most likely skirted. LEFT WALL: Something lighting the left side of this wall to add a little blue WHICH flows to the window where theres an external source almost / is the same blue coming through the window.

Skirted overhead (probably china ball or pancake lantern) with strategically placed white bounces on the table for fill on faces. Large ambient fill and small lights for highlights in the background.
