How wide is wide enough?

I was watching The Shining the other day with commentary by Garrett Brown and he said while operating steadicam for most scenes he went super wide, 9.8mm if I'm not mistaken.

I really love the moving wide shots and I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the widest wide angle adapter there is available for the HPX170?
