How well does FCP HD compensate for low light?

I shot some interviews that were all natural lighting. The light was too low on some and I was curious how well FCP HD will compensate? Or what other software or filters can help this situation?

There's no black and white answer for that question. You have to experiment and see what you get because we don't know what your source footage looks like.

FCP is very good with color correction and you should be able to compensate nicely for a general low light situation. But if it's REALLY low light, increasing the brightness and contrast might give you grain across your image. But again, you have to experiment.

You can also try http://www.natress.com for his filters. Or Magic Bullet editors (long render times) or Boris filters. All of which should be able to help you out.
