How tp freez "pause" frame!!?

I want to freez a frame at the end of my video clip for 5 seconds. Ho to do it? I checked the online help, bu did not help me!!!
 
Which Version of vegas are you using? I'm using Vegas 6 and to my knowledge it should work for whatever version you have... but I just insert a Velocity Envelope and set it to 0%. You may need to drag the clip a little... but if you play around with it you'll get the hang of it, just insert the Velocity envelope which can be done by either right clicking the clip or in the toobar menu up top. Hope this helps.
 
or use the screengrab function to save the required frame as a JPEG, then insert that onto the timeline for the required length
 
Or:

1. Cut the clip where you want the freeze.

2. Zoom in, go back one frame and cut again.

3. Right click and "Create Subclip" the single frame. This makes a new video clip of just one frame.

4. Stretch the new subclip to the desired length and join the continuing clip so that motion continues.

This takes a second or two once you've done it a few times.
 
I must try that, pmark23 - I can see cases where that would be a better solution, especially if lots of filters and other processing are involved.
