How to use secondary displary in Vegas? Again...

Me too, I'm having a hard time to use an external display in vegas. I get windows to recognize the second display and in preview preferences I select 'windows secondary display'. When I click the indetify screen option... it shows one being the main monitor and two the secondary, but when I play back vegas I don't see the video. I really don't wanna go the camcorder/firewire route as I'm previewing HD content and the down conversion from the cam to the lcd looks really bad.
Could someone please help me figure this thing out!! I just spent a bunch of money on an HDTV lcd for this purpose only and I can't get it to work. Grrrrrrrr!!
Oh btw, I'm on a vista home premium ops... if that helps.

It works for me. You go to the preview preferences from the right-click menu on the preview screen, and you setup there which monitor you want. And then, you activate/de-activate it in the preview window with the little monitor icon.

Euginia, I get that part and all that as explained in my post but the video won't show on the external display.

Did you actually clicked the icon in the preview window to enable the second display playback? It works for me just fine you see.
