Checked out some of the other threads on the subject, but none of the ones I found gave a clear, definitive process on how to use footage shot at 60i for a slo-mo effect in a 23.97p timeline.
I'm not really sure how to go about it. Also, I imagine I'd have to switch FCP presets when I capture the 60i shots, which are sandwiched in between 24pa shots on a tape shot mostly at 24pa.
For the 24pa stuff, I'm using the "remove advanced pulldown" and Non-drop frame device control presets, capturing from a DSR-11.
For 60i, would I just go back to NTSC DV, drop-frame? And how do I jam this footage into the 23.97 timeline? Do I use Cinema tools? Do I capture the 60i into my 23.97 project? Thanks for any help.
