How to use 4x4" filters with an SLR stills camera?

Hi there,

I've collected a few 4x4" filters for doing video. Is there any way I can use these 4x4" filters with my digital SLR for stills photography? (other than gaffer-taping them to the front of the camera or using a big-and-heavy video matte box).

Thanks,
Jack

Thanks for the reply! After your reply, I did a bit of googling for "coking 4x4" and it turns out that Cookin's "Z Pro 4x4" filter holder will take 4x4" and 4x6" filters. Lee also do a 4x4 filter holder for stills photography which is a little more expensive but gets better reviews. It sounds like the cokin 4x4 holder tends to vignette with anything wider than about 25mm and the cookin is a little flimsy.
