How to uprez 480i for blu ray.

I reccomend that you hire an encoding expert to do a good upres for you, since the NLE software will do a simple bilnear scale, and it will look blurry. If you're okay with 480i resolution, you can also place the same mpeg-2 DVD files on the blu-ray, but they will only be upscaled if the player supports upscaling for 480i material over Blu-Ray. The PS3 will not upscale 480i material on blu-rays even though it can upscale Regular 480i material on DVDs.
 
Ah yes, an encoding expert is what I need. I'm here in Omaha without many of that ilk. I suppose labs in LA Ny would be a best bet.
