how to upload h264

hey guys I see a lot of users have quicktime movies on their website, can anyone pass me the link to where they show you the proper ways to put quicktime h264 movies and clips to your website

you know I have noticed that anything bigger than 50mb is going to experience a stop on the quitime movie, its a 3 min clip that I just cannot get under 50mb without it looking crappy, any tips? by the way the original clip is an uncompressed avi at 16gb!!!!! I am using squeeze

It's free and works very well with h264 settings for ipod and web.


I generally will resize video to 480x360 to cut down on encoding size. And set the quality to high.
 
If you're using FCP, export using Quicktime Conversion, and select BROADBAND HIGH (or MEDIUM), and also OPTIONs if you need to specify a 16:9 format, use 480x270, should get you what you need.
