How to unsqueeze footage for 16:9

I shot in Squeeze mode with my DVX 100B and captured in Premiere Pro 2.0/ My project settings are:

D1/DV NTSC Widescreen 16:9 (1.2)

The AVI file plays in widescreen outside of Premiere, but in Premiere it plays in squeese mode, and when I export, it still plays in squeeze mode. How do i unsqueeze the footage?

Right click on the footage in the project bin, select Interpret Footage and set the pixel aspect ratio to 1.2
