How to un-squeeze your eyes for framing?

Shooting run-and-gun doc in Amazon jungle, so can't tote a 16:9 monitor around... does anyone make one of these (http://www.centuryoptics.com/products/dv/lcd/lcd_ws.htm) for a 3.5" LCD?  After test-shooting with the squeeze mode, I really don't like the way my framing looks when played back properly.  The Century eyepiece adapter would work, but you just KNOW they'll come out with a LCD one as soon as they release their own anamorphic adapter for the DVX.... ARRGGHH I need something NOW! Well, I guess my question is, has anyone actually used the Century eyepiece?

you could always get a camera mountable 16:9 4:3 switcheable lcd monitor.

Century has already said that they're not going to make an LCD adapter.  Having used the LCD adapter for the PD150 at NAB, I found it a very unsatisfactory little device.  I haven't used the eyepiece adapter, but it seems to be a much more professional device.

I have always just framed the squashed image. It takes a little practice, but it is not impossible to learn how to do. No separate 16:9 monitor means one less thing to haul into the Amazon jungle with you--to be broken, water damaged, or stolen.
