how to transfer warranty

Just bought a HMC-150 from another DVXer, and wanted to know how/if the warranty from panasonic can be transferred over.

Ok. Before I puchased the camera from another DVXer, I called Mack Cam about getting a warranty, I explained that I would be purchasing the camcorder from another individual, and they said I could get it. I called today to purchase the warranty, and low and behold, they won't do it. So now i'm a little upset that I have a $3000 camcorder with no warranty. If any of you read my other thread about how my A1 died, a warranty saved me $3700 bucks. So, any recommendations on what to do???
