how to transfer fcp4 timeline to minidv using a cam

I just finish a music video and I need to transfer to minidv. I don't own a deck, how can I transfer to my minidv cam?

hook up the firewire, change the external video playback to firewire, start recording on ur camera in VCR mode, play the video in final cut and that should work
