R Rweibush Member May 6, 2010 #1 I just got a EX1r, and I'm trying to figure out how to use my mixpre with it. I understand that you can sync the two so that what is read on the mixer is read on the camera. any help, or info about using the two together would be of great help! thanks!

H Hiro Nakamura Active member May 6, 2010 #2 XLR output from the SD Mixpre to XLR input on the EX1r, if you wanna listen to what the EX1r record exactly, connect the mini jack from EX1. give a tone from the SD, then sync the audio level from the EX1r, -18 or -20db... then test the mic and return.. I have a 442, but I think the flow is the same. Hiro
