Do any of you know any good resources on the net or books about actually shooting your film. That covers topics such as continuity, cutaway shots, the 180 degree rule, framing, different kind of shots, cuts etc.

I know there are alot things on directing, but they don't include things about shooting.

I know in alot of amature/first time films there are mistakes done such as when shots don't much, the shots jump or another mistakes such as getting the actors eye lines wrong when becomes obvious in editing when the direction a character is looking doesn't much the reverse angle or POV shot, or not framing the actor with enought head room (not enough space between the top of the frame and the top of the actor's head) also nose room ( from the tip of the actor's nose to the edge of the frame)...

anyways just wondering if there are resources on that (that don't include film school) that give you info on that. I think it be good to research and read, get some info about before I do my short.
