How to shoot on hang glider?

Some day I need to shoot an actor on a hang glider, any ideas?
I thought there would be a motor operated pedal bike but is that too dreamy, would it need to be a small plane? Or would the camera also need to be on a hang glider. It has to drift slowly along with the actor to make the whole sequence feel dreamy and free. It's going to be on RED or an HVX200.

I would suggest the barrett 50 cal, top speed, high impact, long range. No way that sucker will drift out of your sights.

Can the hang glider pilot do several fly-pasts close over a ground camera? That should suffice for simple 'flying past' shots, presuming the ground doesn't need to be visible. For close-ups, I'd cheat the whole thing, with the pilot actually on the ground (or rather, hanging from the glider which is attached to the ground). Seriously, if done right, the audience will never know,

A really slow meduim tracking shot (showing the whole glider) will be the hardest, as it implies the camera will need to match the glider's speed and path. From the ground would probably be the easiest, but only if you have a nice flat are for the glider to fly over while a camera car/truck drives underneath. A specialist plane might be able to do it from the air, but that's probably the most expensive option. And aerial photography like this is potentially very dangerous, it needs to be done by professionals.
